Making pizza with kids is an entertaining activity. My son had so much experience with pretend play pizza cooking, so he knew what he should do!
What you need
- Pizza dough (We got our pre-made dough from Trader Joe’s)
- Pizza sauce
- Topping (We used fresh tomatoes, black olives, and basil)
- Favorite cheese (We used mozzarella)
First, I cut all toppings and put them in plates individually. We spread the dough together, then put some pizza sauce on it. That was the first time my son touched the real pizza dough, and he was so surprised how strange the texture is.
He was super excited to ‘play’ with real food.
Voila! That was so fast. It was way too many foods top on each other, so we teamed up again and spread them apart a bit, then baked it.
Looks great to me! My son slowly realized there was some food he didn’t like. (Olive and basil) Haha! He removed them from his pizza and ate his pizza so happy, and said he loved it! I was so happy too!
You can make pizza dough from scratch. What?! I want to try it sometime.
