Making a favorite picture book character with LEGO

We decided to make Lego art with our favorite picture book. We picked many people’s classics, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” (Eric Carle).  We gathered the Lego we have at home and made it on the Lego baseplate.

What We Used

• “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” (Eric Carle) / There is an image below if you don’t have with you right now.
• Lego (Any) We used Green, light green and blue for the body, red for the face, then small brown pieces for legs.
• Lego baseplate

Here is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The cutest caterpillar ever!

We had a tough time figuring out the shape of the body, but it came out good! My son was so happy to see the Lego version of the caterpillar.
