Imagine your room is messy, and you need to clean it up!
The game board has four category boxes: Toys, Furniture, Clothing, and Arts and Crafts.
The teacher sets the timer for 3 minutes and calls out, "Ready, set, go!"
Players start sorting the items onto the game board.
The timer runs for three minutes. If a player cannot finish in time, they can try again.
Once the teacher reviews the sorted items, glue or tape them down.
Teachers
Review each item on the printout with the students before they start the game. They need to understand what each item is before sorting.
After the students finish sorting, check to make sure they categorized everything correctly. (See answer key below)
