  2. Hold your plush doll and box.

  3. Choose a name for your plush doll or toy. This name will fill in all the blanks.

Playing:

  1. The player tells the teacher the name of the plush doll.

  2. The teacher reads a sentence aloud, filling in the blank with the plush doll's name.

  3. The player will use a plush doll and a box to act out the sentence.

  4. The teacher moves to the next sentence.

  5. Keep playing with lots of imagination!

Teachers

  • If you are teaching many students, here’s a simple idea. Students can bring their plush dolls and boxes. You can use one name for all the dolls. For example, if all the dolls are named “Teddy,” all the students can play this activity together at the same time.
