How to Play
In coffee shops, staff often write customers' names on cups to keep track of orders. In this activity, students will pretend to be shop workers and will ask their classmates and teachers for their names as customers.
Setup:
Download and print the PDF for each student.
Playing:
Pretend to be workers at a drink shop. Show the printout and ask, “What can I get for you today?” or “May I take your order?”
When a customer orders a drink, ask for their name and write it on the cup.
*Remember, the name must start with a capital letter.
If the spelling is difficult, ask the customer how to spell their name.
Keep asking for orders and writing them down!
