This sorting and performing game will help students become more comfortable spotting verbs by acting out the actions they describe.

How to Play
Number of Players:
About 1 - 4 Players (depending on how well they can see the cards)
Setup:
Download and print the PDF
Cut out all the cards. (*Please assist with scissors as needed.)
The teacher will create a card deck and place it face down.
Playing:
Gather around.
The teacher will flip a card, read the word aloud, and show it to everyone.
If the word is a noun, stay still.
If the word is a verb, act it out! (For example, for "eat," pretend to munch).
Continue playing until all the cards have been used.
