Goal

Counting and Cardinality: K.CC.A.1

Students will practice counting by tens with their peers.

  • Scissors (*Please help with scissors as needed.)

  • Stickers as rewards


How to Play

Number of Players: 

  • 2 players. *If a student is alone, the teacher can join.

Setup:

  1. Download & print the PDF.

  2. Cut out the number cards. 

  3. Make two decks: One with a white background and one with a yellow background.

  4. Each player gets one deck of cards.

Playing:

  1. Each player will hold their card in their hands.

  2. The first player picks one card and places it face-up on the table.

  3. The other player uses their cards and completes the line from 10 to 100.

  4. If the numbers are correct, the player wins a sticker as a Great job reward. 

  5. Return the other players’s card and take turns.
