Matching Numbers 11 to 20 with Dot Cards
In This Lesson
This enjoyable game will help students recognize matching written numbers to numbers of items.
Activity Prep
Number cards and Dots cards from the previous lesson (Number Cards 11-12)
*We used regular print paper and card sleeves to make the cards sturdier, so they’re easy for little hands to use and reuse!
How to Play
Number of Players:
2 -4 players (A single player can also play by trying to find all the matching cards as quickly as possible.)
Playing:
Shuffle the deck of cards and spread all the cards face down.
The first player picks two cards and turns them face up.
If the cards don’t match, turn them back face down and the next player takes their turn.
If the cards match, the player keeps them and takes another turn.
Continue taking turns until all the cards are gone.
The player with the most matched pairs at the end wins.
