Goal

Students will practice another method of adding numbers by stacking LEGO Bricks that match the image.


Activity Prep

  • Download & print the PDF below

  • Writing tools (pencils, colored pencils, markers, etc.)

  • Two sets of 5 LEGO bricks in different colors (any colors)


How to Use

  1. Students create two sets of stacked LEGO pieces that match the example image. 

  2. Then, put both sets together and examine the total number of pieces.

  3. Finally, fill in the numbers to solve the problems.

  • After students complete the worksheet, please review their answers and assist them with any mistakes.
