How to Use

  • This is an extended version of previous activity “Consonant Word Chains 1.”

  1. Download and print the PDF for each student.

  2. Guess a word and fill in the blanks.

  3. Starting each new word with the last letter of the previous one.

    For example, if the first word is "jam," the next word is "music" because it starts with "m."

  4. Keep going! Ask your teacher or friends for help if needed.

  5. When you finish, read all the words from the top.


Teachers

  • Some words give hints with their last letters (h, r, and s).

  • If you're having trouble identifying the image, click the Answer Key button below for help.

  • If the student is struggling, please read the word together.
