Sentences

Our next goal is to introduce sentences. At this point, students can recognize the form of sentences by combining these elements of grammar. This exercise will help them understand some basic rules for forming sentences.

Activity Prep

  • Download & print the PDF below (If you'd like to show it on the screen, that sounds great, too.)

Teachers

  • Please remind students that a sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with either a period, question mark, or exclamation mark (.?!).
