Goal

Sentences: L.K.2.A / L.K.1.F

In this exercise, the goal is to remind students that a sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a period, question mark, or exclamation mark (.?!).


Activity Prep

  • Coloring tools (crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc) 


How to Use

  1. Download and print the PDF.

  2. The teacher will read aloud the text in each bubble on the left and right.  

  3. Use the checklist below to see which bubble has complete sentences.

    Checklist

    ✅ Does it start with a capital letter? (If yes, circle it.)

    ✅ Does it end with a mark ( . ? ! )? (If yes, circle it.)

  4. If the bubble has two circles, it is a complete sentence.

  5. Color the speech bubble to show that it is a complete sentence.

  6. Keep going and complete all five tasks.
