How to Play

Number of Players: 

  • 2-4 players. *If a student is alone, the teacher can join.

Setup:

  • Download and print the PDF.

  • Gather around the game sheet.

  • Choose the first player and take turns in a clockwise direction.

Playing:

  1. The first player rolls the die and moves their game piece accordingly.

  2. If a player lands on a space, they must follow the instructions on that space. For example, if the space says "Jump 6 times," the player should jump 6 times safely.

  3. If a player is having a hard time completing the task on a space, others can help by giving hints!

  4. Keep playing until someone reaches or passes the "Goal." That player is the winner!

  • Please prioritize safety. Remind the students to avoid any dangerous movements to prevent injuries and damage.

  • CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.A.1: Count to 100 by ones and by tens.

  • CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.B.4.A: When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
