Goal

Students will practice counting to 50 with number charts. Learning the tens helps them count bigger numbers.


Activity Prep

  • Download & print the PDF below

  • Game piece (Eraser, Candy, Legos… any small piece you like!)


How to Use

  1. Start by placing your game piece on “zero.” Then, hop to the next number and call it out loudly.

  2. Continue counting up to 50.


Tip

  • After we count to 20, we add the numbers one to nine to each ten number. Learning the tens helps us count bigger numbers!
