  • Playing cards

How to Play

Number of Players:

  • 2 Players. *A teacher can join as needed.

Setup:

The image demonstrates the game setup. First, remove the Joker, Jack, Queen, and King cards, then create two sets of cards numbered 1-10 each.
  1. Remove the Joker, Jack, Queen, and King cards from the deck.

  2. Explain that Ace (A) represents the number 1.

  3. Create two sets of 1-10 each.

Playing:

The image shows the instructions that each player holds their set of cards in their hands.

1. Each player holds their set of cards in their hands.

The image shows the players choose one card and place it face-up on the table at the same time. **If their numbers are the same, do it over.

2. Both players choose one card and place it face-up on the table at the same time. **If their numbers are the same, do it over.

The image explains the game with flipping coin (quarter). Heads are Greater, and Tails are Lesser.

3. Flip the coin (quarter). Heads are Greater, and Tails are Lesser.

The image illustrates an example of how the game goes. Player A has a 4, and Player B has a 6. If the coin lands on "Heads" (indicating a greater number), Player B wins.

4. Players compare their number cards based on the flipped coin. For example, the player A’s card is 4, and the player B’s card is 6. The flipped coin is “Heads (Greater).” So, player B wins.

The image shows the player who correctly matches the result and keeps the other player's card.

5. The player who correctly matches the result keeps the other player’s card.

6. Play until players use all the cards.

7. The player with the most cards at the end wins the game!
