How to Use

  1. Download & print the PDF.

  2. Make a deck of the number cards from 1 to 5.

  3. Draw one card from the deck, then place it on the printout the where it says “Place Your Number Card.”

  4. Subtract one from the number and call out the answer. For example, if the card is 2, then minus (take away) 1 from 2, the answer is 1.

  5. Keep trying until you use all the cards!

Teachers

  • Please help students understand that when they see a minus sign, they need to take away the numbers.
