Fun Body Tracing Activity with kids “Real size of me!”
My son was SUPER into anatomy (human body). After he read the book “Human Body Theater,” his favorite activities were human body related. After we learned how our body works, we traced his shape and placed construction paper organs!
What We Used
- Huge paper (We used brown masking paper we bought at the home improvement store.)
- Pencil
- Marker
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Image of the human body (Books, the printed copy you found from the internet, and etc.)

This book is so entertaining. It’s like a graphic novel (comic) style, and you will be so informed about the human body after you read!
Step by Step

Trace your kid with a pencil! (You don’t want to use a marker because it makes a stain on kids’ clothing.)

Wow! My son was so surprised how big he was!

Trace the pencil line with a marker so that it will be more clear to see.

My son chose to draw bones by looking at “Human Body Theater” and another anatomy book on our bookshelf.

Now, he made his organs. Lungs, heart, and etc…

Then, cut them out.

Place all the organs you made.

Finally, it’s done!
Happy learning!
