This puzzle game can assist students in forming statement sentences, which have two important rules: they start with a capital letter and end with a period.

How to Play

Number of Players:  

• The Player: 1 or 2 (Teaming up)

Setup: 

1. Download and print the PDF.

2. Cut out all the cards.

3. Spread all cards randomly on the table or floor, face-up.

Playing: 

1. There are 5 colors for the sentences: orange, blue, green, pink, and purple.

2. The teacher calls out one color.

3. Player(s) collect the cards of that color to make a sentence.

4. The sentence must start with a capital letter and end with a period.

5. After forming the sentence, the player asks the teacher for confirmation.

6. If the sentence is correct, they move on to the next color.  

7. Keep playing until all the cards are used.

• If students need help reading, please read all the sentences before starting the game.
